Corruption: Whites Still On Top 2
Despite the constant murmuring of growing corruption let’s not forget that the largest case of corporate thievery in SA history was still carried out by us whiteys.
Fidentia’s curators have now estimated that close to R1 billion Rand has gone missing.
When it comes to white (no pun intended) collar crime, we’re still number one!!

Not too sure I am following your point. Corruption is corruption. Are these murmurings you are refering too only applicable to black corruption. Since when did anyone say that corruption was a black thing?
And even if you are punting it as a black thing, is it only regretable if it is worse than what a white guy did?
Come on….
Is the Fidentia thing not more accurately considered fraud, and not corruption?
This post was a bit tongue in cheek and I’m definitely not saying it’s a black thing, but from my experience in conversation round the dinner table people are much quicker to assume corruption amongst black politicians and businessmen than white ones. Which is not to say corruption isn’t a growing problem because it is.
But the Fidentia afffair is just a reminder that when it comes to the big scandals it’s probably just as much the ‘aw shucks Afrikaner oke from PE’ than the ‘well connected to the ANC businessman’.
