Usually we don’t stray off the political road here but I was just reading an article on Ubuntu, the Linux distribution funded by SA’s own dotcom millionaire and cosmonaut Mark Shuttleworth, when the following quote jumped out at me:
Shuttleworth tried out in early 2005 for the Donald Trump role on a South African version of The Apprentice, but lost to a politically connected head of a mining company.
